Summary

I didn’t believe them when they said they would corrupt me。
I was wrong。 So wrong。

The night my sister died, a piece of me died with her, so I made a vow。
I'm going to enroll at Spine Ridge University just like her, find the person responsible … and make them pay。

Until I meet three sick boys of the Skull & Serpent Society: Felix, Dylan, Alistair。 Rude, heartless, vicious guys who are obsessed with making me regret I ever stepped foot on campus。

They make me a deal: My body in exchange for a glimpse at their violence。
Refusing them is impossible, denying them is insane。

They're rough, greedy, and every second with them is filled with depravity。
Their venom is jabbed straight into my heart and I’m sucked into their world。
All for the sake of revenge。

Until it becomes something more。
Something priceless。
Something all four of us would kill for。

The only thing that bothered me about this book is that the POV's are mixted up sometimes which makes it hard to keep track of what happened。 Otherwise very good good! This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 This book went from interesting to utterly chaotic in like no time。 Was digging the idea of a RH version of a series I love。 And I was digging that two of the men love each other。 And I even liked that one guy didn’t actually wanna share cause that made way more sense than him wanting to…but then it just all fell apartI wanted the sister to have other types of hidden secrets, and the fact that they all loved her too but compare that they love pen more? Kinda weird

Maybe it’s because I’m not usually into RH/poly stuff that I loved the bouts of possessiveness。My only major point of criticism was the quite predictable plot twist (or not) of the sister having been in a relationship with the boys。 I kept hoping that my suspicions were wrong because it made the h feel like a replacement and cheapened her connection with them—if they felt the same about her sister, it’s not so special anymore, is it? At the same time they claim they love the h more than they did her dead sister, which seems contradictory given how they talk about her, and it also feels a little disrespectful seeing as she’s literally dead…If it wasn’t for that, I would’ve given the book 4。5 stars。 The additional plot twist regarding the h’s family felt too contrived for me and made me wonder why the h was so clueless about some things in the beginning。 。。。more

took more than half book to enjoy itI was struggling to get into the book more than half of it were slow very little action, a bit boring & felt like characters was all over the place。 Only towards the end the book actually became interesting to read where it was more thrill & action。

This book was a hot mess and not in a good way。 I'm the first to admit, I'm not a fan of bully romance or college settings, and this book confirmed that。 The boys (and they are boys, not men) are all tough, providing their daddies aren't in the picture。 It took a weird turn towards the end of the book and it felt like a different story。 This book was a hot mess and not in a good way。 I'm the first to admit, I'm not a fan of bully romance or college settings, and this book confirmed that。 The boys (and they are boys, not men) are all tough, providing their daddies aren't in the picture。 It took a weird turn towards the end of the book and it felt like a different story。 。。。more

I don’t DNF very often but I just couldn’t get through more than 40% of this one。 I hate writing bad reviews。 They hurt my soul。 But the writing in this one hurt my brain。 Some of it was redundant。 The characters don’t have any development and are kind of flat。 It was more of a let me tell you this story instead of letting the reader get invested in the story。 Very surface level。 I’ve seen this recommended so many times and I was disappointed。 This is my go to genre。 I love a good bully book and I don’t DNF very often but I just couldn’t get through more than 40% of this one。 I hate writing bad reviews。 They hurt my soul。 But the writing in this one hurt my brain。 Some of it was redundant。 The characters don’t have any development and are kind of flat。 It was more of a let me tell you this story instead of letting the reader get invested in the story。 Very surface level。 I’ve seen this recommended so many times and I was disappointed。 This is my go to genre。 I love a good bully book and RH makes it so much better but I just couldn’t with this one。 。。。more

This is my first read by Clarissa Wild。 I’ve read a few Shantel Tessier books, and while the genre is the same, I prefer this author for sure! My only issues are:- Nessie saving the day really upset me。 😂 I feel like this was such an unrealistic cop out。 - King stepping up as the new dean also through me for a loop and felt a little silly。 - The “Romeo and Juliet” vibe meets “Family Feud” meets mafia concept was a bit much and I didn’t understand the need for Penelope and the boys to hide this f This is my first read by Clarissa Wild。 I’ve read a few Shantel Tessier books, and while the genre is the same, I prefer this author for sure! I'm choosing not to rate this book due to the fact that I find this was just not for me in terms of the writing style and some of the content。 I typically like dark romance novels, but this one just didn't hit。 It just grossed me out a bit, and I'm not talking about the murder/violence。 I'm choosing not to rate this book due to the fact that I find this was just not for me in terms of the writing style and some of the content。 I typically like dark romance novels, but this one just didn't hit。 It just grossed me out a bit, and I'm not talking about the murder/violence。 。。。more

A strong and seriously steamy book。 I enjoyed the twisted shit that went down but I’m not quite sure how I feel about her staying or being with the same men her sister, that she’s avenging, was also with…it’s just a bit strange to me。 Other than that, a solid book with enjoyable characters。 It would’ve had a higher rating if the storyline was a bit stronger and perhaps the steam didn’t feel like the main selling point of this book。 The main fmc, while I liked her, seemed to forget the reason she A strong and seriously steamy book。 I enjoyed the twisted shit that went down but I’m not quite sure how I feel about her staying or being with the same men her sister, that she’s avenging, was also with…it’s just a bit strange to me。 Other than that, a solid book with enjoyable characters。 It would’ve had a higher rating if the storyline was a bit stronger and perhaps the steam didn’t feel like the main selling point of this book。 The main fmc, while I liked her, seemed to forget the reason she was there quite often, and her lack of self control when it came to the guys could get a bit annoying 。。。more

Learned some things about myself with this one。。。If there's a trigger warning you can pretty much apply it。 This is not for the faint of heart。 It's not a fluffy romance。 Or an ethical one。 But that being said, it definitely brought the fire and I couldn't put it down。 Read the authors PSA and trigger warnings in the beginning, take them seriously before you dive in。 Otherwise, prepare for a seriously steamy read。 Learned some things about myself with this one。。。If there's a trigger warning you can pretty much apply it。 This is not for the faint of heart。 It's not a fluffy romance。 Or an ethical one。 But that being said, it definitely brought the fire and I couldn't put it down。 Read the authors PSA and trigger warnings in the beginning, take them seriously before you dive in。 Otherwise, prepare for a seriously steamy read。 。。。more
